As the world embraces change a plenty I have taken a different direction in poetry creation; I explore my love of photography and art, adapting Ellie Day's superb art and Jo Greenwoods portraits, together with Nick White's and my own photography. It has given me fresh impetus and I hope you like the results which will appear in due course on my website.
On Monday January 27th my poem THE which was a poem creation requested by Andrew Ross Hay and show host and creator Neil Blanks for Portsmouth Talkback QA radio show has been selected to be performed by Portsmouth Jewish Association member and good friend Alex Bentley. The poem is published in the programme. The event starts from 1030 at The D Day museum and all are welcome.
Due to my six word challenge success at last years Darkfest I have been asked to be a pop up poet for T'articulations Feb 17th event at The Art Coffee House, 113 Lord Montgomery Way in Portsmouth. Entry is £3 via online, just type in T'articulation on Facebook or instagram.
My next performance is this Sunday at Alleycats open mic event at The Winchester Arms, Winchester Rd, North End, Portsmouth.
So thanks for all your support and hope your Christmas and New Year brought you cheer and new hopes for the future.
Stay happy and be true to you.
Philip
