SLIPPING AND SLIDING

You slipped into me
I slipped into you
We shared ups and downs
We slid on the slippery slopes of the roads we must tread,
Me, the undulated path called life
You, the ice covered road to providing happiness
We fell and hurt ourselves it seemed a few years ago for the last time
But today
We have recovered from the bruises so...........
We have restarted the work on keeping our feet on the ground
And our paths have crossed again
You, stronger than ever
Me, the same
So lets make this crossroad in our life work this time
Let the solid, flat ground keep us stable and focused..............
And maybe, just maybe our close cousins lust and logic
Will work more with us this time dear love
Then we can realise true happiness once again
