We'll meet again

Don't know where, don't know when

But I know we'll meet again... some sunny day...........

As we prepare to lay

To rest our heroine

Vera Lynn

Lets realise hers and my wish of the poem yesterday once more....

Let us reopen the door

To the mantra of all embracing,

Self effacing

Human solidarity

Not a... I love me...

Who do you love personage,

Vera did that....

A singing coach sneered under her hat

Your voice is not for me

So Vera took the opportunity

To prove her wrong

And the song

We'll Meet Again

When

Heard by all and sundry

Whatever the country

Lifts your spirits

Her voice, the lyrics

Blend into one,

In perfect harmony

So must we seize the same opportunity

In front of us and do her proud....

Shout aloud

Thank you Vera Lynn

For guiding

Us to treat everyone as an equal and work together

Never

Being unbelieving of our individual talents

But instead using them as instruments

To help other too

To share theirs to make the world better for everyone, not just the.... few

Written in The Poetry Factory room of gracious thanks

A follow up to YESTERDAY ONCE MORE on my bequest of a word or subject from Fraser Harper. Dame Vera Lynns passing seemed a fitting cross reference to the wish for more harmony and less self centred actions.
