Your existence just a day, Christmas Eve

My heart did heave

The words on the plaque

Made me take a step back...

Bow my head

Now fed

By a realisation this child..

Mild..

With no malintent in its body did not last...

The day, life passed

It by

In a blink of an eye

The parents forever bereft

But the child's presence has never left

Them, you...or I

As you see

Their memoriam tree

Forever a reminder life has no reason or rhyme...

So embrace it one day at... a...time.

The people's memoriam garden by Langstoneshore, off Furze Lane is a place of serenity from a child who died the day of its birth to an old SAS soldier. A palative reminder of the fragility and strength of life.
