MORNING CONFUSION

Is it an illusion

A sensory confusion

That each new dawn is better then the last

The past

Is forgotten

Every rotten

Part of yester year

Becomes a reason to cheer

As your light from your window shines over the darkness of the past

Will it last?

Yes, because that first moment of light

Gives you the sensory fight

To wake up a new

Rub your eyes, look at the world and say....

Fuck you!!

Spike Milligan did pastiche poems on occasion of famous poets works so this was a wry view on how we feel in the morning truly and a little piss take on my own serious stuff
