LET THE SHIP SAIL

Wave it goodbye
Lie
No more to your heart
Let the ship of love depart
The docks of never ending wishful thinking
And let it instead get that sinking
Feeling
Swallowed up by the waves of rejection
Love will swim for the shore of affection
Where it realises its power
Then with honour
Sail back to you aboard a raft of change
And it will guide you on its strange...
Ways
Where days
It is an enforcer
But on others a chancer
Then you'll understand that love
Is an amalgam of
Your hope and dreams
Ironic as it seems....
But true love is made up of those
We...make love exist
Is the ironic twist
In this tale
Because with hope you cannot enforce
Your choice
Without dreams you cannot be a chancer
As they are enhancer
Of the reality of life....
Let love sail
And wail
At its departure
Then renurture
Yourself with quiet and reason
And your liaison
With love...you
Will restart, try it...its true
