HOW SPIFFINGLY PUT

The slender built lady looked surprised

Her eyes

Opened wide

There was no attempt to hide

Her joy of learning a new word

Had she heard

Right?

I told her the weather through the night

And as we spoke was a tad inclement

A gentle description from yesteryear

Which is meant to bring a tear

Of joy...

Not annoy

As 'tis pissing down'

Does...

And therefore a frown

Comes to yer mush

But my phrase does create a rush

Of blood to your face too

It's true

But of a positive type

No gripe

Just a subtle future hint

That the sun will glint

Again

Upon our window pain

When the rain has passed....

So how spiffingingly put to ensure no negative feel will last
