DARK IN THE LIGHT

Your eyes react
In an act of fear
As the light from the window behind
Is not kind
It lets your pursuers
From the sewers
Of your mind see where you are...
In a car
Travelling to the land of redemption
But now the miscreants from the land of apprehension
Have found you
What can you do?
Block the light
And use the wing mirrors?
Nope, the terrors
Are there
Too,
They do not care
So how do I get rid of the apprehensions
Caused by bright light,
Easy, use their arch enemies
Focus and belief
And they will disappear
Because they fear
Those
So you will lose
Them in an instance
So you can drive the now short distance
To the land of redemption
With no intrepidation
Turning the dark into light
In your mind so you can take on life with all your might
